Just got home from work after another significantly late evening, the third in as many weeks. However there really is light, and we really are approaching the end of the tunnel; the Foo now Frobnicates, though it still needs a little polish before it will be properly releasable. (This is just as well, as I'm off to Baltimore for a conference next week. Will post with travel details when I have the tickets in hand, but it's firming up well, and it seems I'm in demand; our sales guys in that part of the US want to meet up if we can conveniently arrange it.)

For now, shower and bed. Should pick up my processed film tomorrow; hope it's scanned better than the job the Fuji lab made of scanning my slides. (The slides themselves are brilliant, rich vivid colours, but the scans the lab made of them are washed out, as if they're overexposed. Photo geeks? Is this natural? Will see if I can arrange to rescan them myself some time.)

In the meantime I leave you with the curious metric that I was 218% efficient today according to my timesheet, and the observation that I survived my Tcl work this evening without going mad and spilling extranous brackets, braces and parentheses all over the place. This is worrying; I seem to be starting to grok the strange language ...
